Old-Fashioned Beef Tallow for Cooking
Hand-rendered in the heart of Appalachia
Crafted the old-fashioned way from 100% pasture-raised North Carolina beef, our cooking tallow is slowly rendered in small batches and triple-purified for rich flavor and exceptional purity. Prized for its high smoke point (around 400°F), beef tallow is perfect for searing steaks, frying potatoes, roasting vegetables, baking biscuits, or seasoning your favorite cast iron skillet.
This nutrient-rich, shelf-stable fat is a timeless kitchen staple—beloved for its depth of flavor, stability, and versatility. Use it in place of butter or oil for old-school cooking with heart and soul.
Each jar is made exclusively with beef from The Pure Farm Project of NC and handled with the same care we’d give our own pantry.
🧂 To Use: Scoop out what you need with a clean utensil and melt gently in a skillet or oven. Store in a cool, dark place; refrigeration is optional but extends shelf life.

Disclaimer:
We’re mighty proud of the quality of our tallow—rendered slow and low from pasture-raised local beef. Here at home, we use it for everything from frying eggs to steaks.
However, due to state and federal rules, we can’t officially sell this tallow as food across state lines. So if you're outside North Carolina, please know this is offered as a general-purpose only. What you do with it once it’s yours? Well, that’s between you and your biscuits.
Thanks for understanding—and for supporting old-fashioned goodness.
